Malta

Probably one of my favorite trips last year was the week I spent in Malta, a small island country in the Mediterranean between Italy and Africa.  The island is so small that when at its highest point (a small hill in the middle), you can see the ocean all around you.  My friends and I were able to rent a car and drive around on the left side of the road because of the British influence on Malta (a lot of fun).  Probably the most impressive aspect of Malta are its cliffs and stunning landscapes, hopefully you will be able to tell from my pictures!
